Description MS in Luwian on red jasper, Neo Hittite states, Syria, 10th-8th c. BC, 1 stamp seal, diam. 2,2x1,0 cm, 6+6 cursive Hittite hieroglyphs within a circle, same inscription on both sides, pierced for suspension.
Provenance There are about 220 Hittite hieroglyphic signs, partly ideographic and partly phonetic, including 57 syllabic signs.
