Description MS in Norwegian and Italian (text 1) on paper, Bergen, 1906; text 1: 2 partial ff., 22x7 cm, 16 staves, and 7x27 cm, 4 staves music notation, autograph; text 2: 4 pp., 22x14 cm, 25 lines in cursive script, autograph, signed; text 3: 4 pp., 11 lines in cursive script, autograph, signed by Edvard Grieg; and 22 pp., 22x14 cm, up to 31 lines in cursive script, autograph by Nina Grieg, London, Kristiania, Lofthus and Troldhaugen, 1906, 1926 and 1928, with 2 photographs of Edvard and Nina Grieg, 1 with "Hofpianistinde" Johanne Stockmarr, dated 28 February 1928.

Commentary The piano concerto in a-minor op. 16 by the Norwegian composer, Edvard Grieg (1843-1907), is one of the most popular concertos ever written. It was composed in Denmark in 1868. The original autograph score is in Bergen Offentlige Bibliotek. The present extensive corrections are hitherto unknown and unpublished.
