Description MS in Russian Church Slavonic on paper, Moscow(?), Russia, ca. 1550, 472 ff. (-39), 29x19 cm, single column, (20x12 cm), 25 lines in Cyrillic half-uncial by 5 scribes, headings and initials in red, illuminated headpiece with circular foliate designs in bright blues, pinks, green black and white on a gold ground, a full quadripartite page with 4 miniatures in gold and colours, probably painted in Moscow.
Binding Russia, ca. 1550, brown calf over thick wooden boards, sewn on 4 bands.

Commentary The miniatures have a sombre smoky quality that stem ultimately from the work of the icon painter Andrei Rublev in the previous century.
