MS in late Middle Scots on vellum, Scotland, 1594, in a rounded Gothic book script of medium grade and quality, autograph, signed, dedication page in large gold capitals within a golden frame, with illuminated illustrations.

MS in Latin on vellum, Pistoia, Italy, 1460-70, in two volumess, the first by Filippo de Nanni de'Batini, the second by an unidentified scribe. Illuminated by unidentified artists and and yet unnamed collaborator of Francesco d'Antonio del Chierico.

MS in Latin, Middle English, French and Gascon on vellum, England, ca. 1325-1430, with miniatures by 5 artists reflecting styles associated with Cambridge in the 1340's and London in the 1390's.

MS in Latin on paper, Austria, ca. 1470, featuring a square, slightly sloping humanistic book script, coloured leafy plantstems on blue, red or green grounds, heightened with tracery and clusters of dots, the first one with 3/4 scrolling border of coloured and gold plantstems including a bird.

MS in Latin on vellum, Milano, Italy, 3rd quarter 15th c., 27 lines in an elegant sloping humanist book script, first title and incipit in burnished gold capitals, marginal titles in pink, 16 large white-vine initials by the Ippolita Master.

MS in in Latin on vellum, France, late 12th c. 52 lines in Romanesque book script of medium quality, 28 red 2- to 7-line initials, 4 red 4- to 11-line initials with penwork.

MS in Latin on bronze, Roma, 23 March 178, 2 tabellas with 2 holes through each tablet for the original wire that still binds the two tablets together, originally secured with the seals of the 7 witnesses.

MS in Greek on paper, Venezia, Italy, 1541, 304 ff. (complete), 33x24 cm, single column, (25x14 cm), 30 lines in Greek cursive book script by Nicolaos Kokolos, signed, titles and initials in red.
MS in French on vellum, Paris (or Loire Valley), France, 1470-80, by an illuminator in the circle of the Coëvity Master (Henri de Vulcop).
MS in Persian on paper, Kashmir, 18th ca., 293 ff. (-ca. 10), 25 lines of Nasta’liq script, headings in red over 2 columns, margins ruled in black and colours, 3 illuminated headpieces, 16 large miniatures in colours.
MS in Old Persian, Elamite, Neo Babylonian and Egyptian on cream coloured alabaster, Syria, 485-465 BC, in Old Persian semi-alphabetic cuneiform script, Elamite cuneiform script and Neo Babylonian cuneiform script; the vertical shaft: in hieroglyphs, Xerxes' name within a cartouche.
MS in Neo Sumerian on bronze, Elam, South-west Iran, 2000-1950 BC, 1 flat shallow vessel, possibly a lid, diam. 20x4 cm, 11 lines in cuneiform script, ruled, within a frame.
